Its been a really nice stretch this week..upper 60's near 70 and sunny!

Indian Summer?

Well its Oct 1st and today its over 80 degrees...to me that contitutes Indian Summer..yay! Is that even politically correct to say Indian summer? Lol

9-11 hot

So today it was a scorcher, 95 and very muggy...yuck. that makes a total of 18 90+ degree days this year. I was hoping for more like a 75 degree dY to go camping...maybe Friday :)

9-2 Summer

Well it was a pretty hot and dry July and August...June was rather wet . 9 of the 11 weekends in July and August were totally rain free. There were 3 different really hot stretches..or heat waves lol as attested to by electric bill. Here it is Labor Day and its super gross muggy...and starting Wednesday it looks to be cooler and drier..perfect for my camping trip comin up.

4/26/13 Full Pink Moon

Well it looks beautiful and big but not pink.....here's a link to a site that lists all the Monthly Native American names of the full moons and why they were given those names. ;)

also I noticed the forsythias a few days ago...they were really late this year....also noticing buds on the trees outside my window....and the Canadian geese are back over at the Sams Club Pond for like the 6th year in a row...they do mate for life. I hope the babies make it this year!!
